East Hills needs a few good men and women to run for our association's Board of Directors, who are all volunteers from our community. The Association is a not-for-profit corporation with an annual budget of approximately $60,000. Its primary goals include managing commonly held land and structures for the benefit of its members, paying taxes and enforcing the protective covenants.
Many of our board members are “retiring” this year, several after 6 years' service to the community. We need your help!
To serve, you must be an EHHOA member in good standing and be willing to represent all of your neighbors when making decisions for the community. In addition to the regular board slots, we are also seeking volunteers to help board members. You can nominate yourself or a neighbor (ask them first!) using the blogsite volunteer form, or by contacting any current board member (see below). A brief bio should also be submitted. Ideally, candidates should plan to attend at least one board meeting prior to the election.
The election will be held at the annual meeting tentatively set for Thursday, October 14 at 7 p.m. Please mark this on your calendars.
