Social Activities Survey Results

Those who responded to our survey (conducted in June) made it clear that they want more organized activities in our community.  Nearly 90% of respondents favored a neighborhood directory, over 60% a block party, community picnic or get-acquainted social, and nearly 50% a community garage sale.  We are fortunate that 6 people have already volunteered to help get things going, so you'll hear more shortly.  Here is a link to Bill Reynolds' report, with detailed results of the survey.

There are currently 126 subscribers to the EHHOA blogsite, representing nearly half the households in our community.  Thank you to the forty-three households (16% of the 275 households in East Hills) who participated in the survey.  If you are not among the original group of participants, you are still invited to give your input to the poll here. We would love to hear from the under-represented areas of the neighborhood (specifically, Conway Circle, the neighborhood off Brighton Ct. and those living west of East Hills Blvd.)

One goal of the social committee will be to increase blog readership, as it is the most efficient means of communicating with our residents.  Please feel free to comment on the survey or related topics by clicking on "comments" below  this posting.
