Dogs
It’s been said that a leash is a strap that attaches to a dog’s collar and enables him to lead his owner where he wants to go. We’ve heard that some dogs take their owners where they shouldn’t. Please be considerate of your neighbors; keep your dog on its leash, and walk it beside the road in front of of homes, not adjacent to your neighbors’ side and back yards. And it goes without saying that your pet’s waste is your responsibility.
Were you aware that the sidewalks along East Hills Blvd. border homeowner properties and are not common land? This is true even of properties with backyards going toward the sidewalk. Please be sensitive to the wishes of these homeowners when walking your dog. Some are uncomfortable having others on their private property.
