Christmas Tree Pickup
As usual, the Town of Colonie will be picking up discarded live Christmas trees weekdays, beginning after New Year's and continuing until the end of February. Exact dates will be posted once available.
Trees should be placed curbside with the trunk facing the street. Trees must be free of lighting, ornaments, plastic bags and other contaminants, as they will be ground at the town landfill to make compost. Wreaths will also be picked up if they do not have plastic or metal rings.
