Breaking attempt at Hilander Dr. Please Turn on Your Pole-Mounted Yard Light

Each home in the East Hills neighborhood is required to maintain a single pole-mounted yard light at the front of their property.

Because there are no street lights throughout the neighborhood, it is important that residents switch on that pole-mounted yard light to ensure that the street is illuminated. This serves the dual pupose of ensuring that people are able to see if they are walking in the street, but it also ensures an extra level of security for your own home and that of others. If the neighborhood is well-lit, then it makes it difficult for criminals to go about their business, because light acts as a powerful deterrent to crime.

So if you are not in the habit of turning your light on, please do it tonight, so that we can enjoy a safe and well-lit neighborhood.
